What is an Affiliate
Program?
Quite simply, an Affiliate Program is a partnership with an online
merchant who compensates you for any sales you send that merchant
via links on your site. An Affiliate Program is thus an easy way
to earn money off traffic to your site. Your earning potential is
not only limited to sales - you can also refer other affiliates
like yourself! We will pay you a percentage of all the sales that
you refer. This means you can utilize your knowledge of both audiences
to maximize your earning potential. Each time you introduce another
Webmaster to the program, that Webmaster begins to market on your
behalf, and in doing so increases your earning potential!

How
does an Affiliate Program work?
Traffic passes through your website anyway, right? Well, what an
Affiliate Program does is harness that traffic to help you earn
additional income. The way this works is simple: when a visitor
to your site clicks on the link you have provided, that visitor
will go to the merchant site. Once there, if the visitor does a
transaction on the merchant site, you earn a percentage in the form
of commission. This makes it easy for you to earn money from the
traffic to your website!

Technical
I was already an affiliate with one of the merchants. What do I need to do?
It is very important to update your tracking codes and your contact information! All you existing data has been transferred to VIPprofits. It will stay updated till August 31st 2003. You will need to change the tracking codes you are currently using. Please login and click "banners©" create campaigns and get your new tracking code. How is a player linked to me?
VIP Profits employs state of the art technology in our tracking system to ensure that you get credit for 100% of the traffic that you send to our merchants. Through the use of cookies, any user that clicks on one of your links to our merchants will be linked to you for life. This means that every dollar they spend with our merchants is shared with you - guaranteed!

I am getting an error when browsing through VIPprofits, what do I do?
Please note that the system was build for I.E. (internet Explorer) only! Using Netscape, CompuServe and others might cause problems. Please logout and clean your cache memory and try again. If you continue to get an error please contact us at support@vipprofits.com

How often are stats updated?
Stats are updated once every day. Please note that clicks and impressions are live for banners we host. If you use text links, please click here for more information on the clicks and impressions.

I want to promote more merchants, do I need to signup again?
You can promote as many merchants as you like. Upon setup of your affiliate account, you need to create at least one campaign. After you finished registration, the system will provide you with the full HTML code for banners and a direct tracking code for e.g. emails or your own creative.
You can repeat this process as many times as you like, in fact, we encourage you to set up more merchants as it will be more likely you send a player to one of them.
Go to "banners and copy" and select "create campaign" Fill out the campaign details, select the merchant from the drop down menu and select your commission structure, follow the steps and select your banner(s) and don't forget to finalize.

My clicks and impressions are not showing Am I doing anything wrong?
Possibly, Please note that the system provides you with two pieces of coding. A direct link, and the full html code provided when you selected a banner. The direct code does not provide any clicks and impressions, only the banner code can do that. Read more about this here

It is a security feature that prevents you from changing your email address. (it is your login ID as well) Please keep us up to date of any changes and email: Your old and new email address, and affiliate number to support@vipprofits.com and we will make the change for you.

Do I need a website to promote your merchants?
In fact, you don't need a website to promote the merchants, but it would help. In order for us to track the players you sent to the merchants, you need to make sure that the players mention the 5 digit tracking code when they phone in to signup an account. You will get this code when you setup a campaign in the VIPProfits system. Without this code it is not possible to track who you referred and pay you your commission.

VIP Profits is a free to join program with no charges incurred by you as an affiliate. There are no catches and no strings attached.

How often am I paid?
VIP Profits processes payments around the 8th day of each month. Payments will be received according to payment type and statements will be sent on the 8th –10th day of each month. Please note that we are paying you on the 8th of each month to make sure all the sporting events are graded. This will prevent differences after payment in your commission.

What are the payment methods?
We currently can pay our affiliates by Bank wire, placing affiliate commissions in a betting account , www.neteller.com and www.moneybookers.com . Payments will require a minimum earning of $50 if residing in the US and Canada and $100 if outside of the US. How do I see how much I have earned?
You can log into your account at the VIP Profits website and check your stats 24 hours a per day, 7 days a week, 365 days per year. We are always a phone call away if you have any questions. Please note that it might take till the next day before a new signup show in your account.

Do negatives carry over?
Yes, negative balances will carry over. Our merchants are mainly sportsbooks and it would be simply impossible to wipe out negatives at the end of each month. Please note that a sports bettor is very different from a casino player. The average value of a player is much higher and therefore you will have a good chance to earn back any potential losses.
